It's interesting how for this style, they hold the violin facing down with the scroll resting on the ground. I guess it makes it easier to do really crazy glissandos. Or maybe it's just that sitting cross-legged is really important to them and if you try and play violin cross legged in normal style, your bow will hit your legs.
